"Cozy mitts by Lorraine are absolutely my favorite mittens!  I loved my first pair so much I now have multiples and also purchased some for a gift. They are so warm and well constructed!  Lorraine does a beautiful job coordinating colours and patterns…she will even do custom work!  I especially love that it’s an upcycled product…so innovative!  I would definitely recommend if you don’t have a pair you have to run out and buy two pairs!"

"I purchased a few pairs of mitts today as part of my shopping for Christmas gifts this year. I am really impressed by the quality of the products and the great service. These are gifts that I am truly excited to give! Thanks Lorraine!"

"On a warm sunny day in perhaps August during COVID, I was roaming through the Sutton Farmer’s Market. I remember feeling sweaty as my clothes were stuck to my skin. Yet, a booth captured my attention with its array of colours. There were piles of mittens; each unique in their design. Lorraine, the owner, and creator explained that she made the mitts from old wool sweaters and coats which is why every pair was unique. The inside was made of fluffy sherpa. Lorraine told me that the outer mitt was a minimum of 70% wool. For me, this was important because I know that wool keeps you warm whether it is wet or dry.  As I have dogs I need to walk them every day including bitterly cold winter days. The sherpa is soft and prevents the itch from wool.  My mitts are sooo warm. On warmer days, I wear the cashmere mitts that she also makes. I personally have 10 pairs for myself as I couldn’t decide what I liked best. That year, every friend and family member received a pair. They were so popular that their friends asked where they got them as they wanted a pair. I ended up buying a pile more post-Christmas to fulfill the demand. Despite my many pairs, I still bought more this year as there are so many unique designs. They have become an addiction."
